Looking to Upgrade my computer need help???

right my current system is

Intel Celeron D ( says on casing at front)

512mb RAM

3.20ghz

i am buying some new ram to make it 1gb or 2gb not sure but i know how to install it but my current graphics card is intergrated and its a intel r celeron r express family chipset with alot of numbers. im stuck at how do i get rid of it and i want a new NVIDIA for playing games, as im getting new ram this is all tht i need aparantly WHATS SHALL I DO PLEASE HELP ME????!?!?!?!

  1. My suggestion would be get a new system...  Especially if you are looking to buy new video card and play games.  If you know how to build a system, it will cost less than 500 with core duo bo build a descent system


  2. Your processor is fine, could be upgraded in the near future to a Dual Core  if you find it getting slow. You definitely need more RAM, but you said that is covered. For graphics, you can't take out what you already have cause it is built into your motherboard. All you have to do is buy a new video card and put it in. An 8600 series nVidia card will be good for gaming, but if you are an extreme gamer, I'd get something in the 8800 series.

  3. If you have a Celeron D 3.2 chip it is probably upgradeable to a dual core or core2 series, most likely has ddr2 ram and a PCI express slot for a video upgrade.

    Your best bet is to look up your system or motherboard model specific detail and see what it can support.
