  1. Why not just ask who wants to give their baby away.. maybe if you offer money you will get a better response.

Let me guess you work for an adoption agency right looking for some more profits? lol..

It's disturbing how people say that kinda c**p so non-shallot. Like it's perfectly normal...

Congrats you just got the most heartless question award.

  2. I'm sorry for the nasty responses you have received.  Adoption can be a wonderful thing; it's just that many people here forget that or have had negative experiences with adoption.

If you are looking to adopt, I highly recommend contacting a local agency to discuss the options available and also to insure that everything is legal and above board.  What some people her refer to "trolling" for babies is actually illegal in many (if not all states).  Many states have laws on how an adoptive parent can find a bio family.  You don't want to do something that may ruin the adoption when it comes time to finalize.  I feel that your best bet is to discuss things with a local reputable adoption agency for more info.

    Good luck to you.

  3. I think you answered your own question, that there are plenty of children near you who need a good home

    Contact Social Services

If you are soliciting for a baby here, I can't help

    What is non-shallot?

    deciphering his/her posts is very difficult . . . .

  5. I don't think you are going to find what you are looking for here. My husband and I live in Tennessee and are doing some homework about adoption before we decide for certain that we are going to adopt. I suggest you do the same thing. If you are looking to adopt you should go through an agency like Bethany in Tennessee.

I am not sure if you think that people in Tennessee are uneducated, toothless-rednecks who just hand out babies or what, but that isn't the case. I am also sure all ladies in Tennessee, or any other state for that matter, would like to give their babies a "good home" either their own home or another. That's why they aren't going to just had over a baby to someone on Yahoo Answers.

You have a long road ahead of you. You will need to contact an agency and complete a home study. Don't limit your search if you decide this is the route you are going. You will have many hurdles to jump, but most of that is for a good reason. Be patient and make sure that you educate yourself as much as possible. Good Luck, and for God's sake.... please stop making all of us from Tennessee look like a bunch of rednecks.

  8. Hello Shawty

Taking a child into your family is a wonderful thing and I hope it works for you.

In your case, I suggest that you contact the Tennessee Department of Children's Services. The web address is:
