Looking to buy a camcorder....

it seems that the mini dv types are cheaper. but, i am still confused as to how i would view these movies once they are recorded. please help.

transfer it to any media type u want.like dvd , usb flash n so on.it's like u transfer ur home video from ur camcorder to vhs.
