I have been looking at tv's.

I am wondering if this one would be a good choice to buy?

50" Vizio Plasma 1080p HDTV

Please help I don't know the difference between plasma and LCD

  1. Vizio is one of the worst TV's on the market.  However, it will do as a "get by" TV.

    I strongly suggest that you consider purchasing the LCD TV or plasma.  Two reason:

    1.  Plasma burns more energy.  Therefore, a higher electric bill.

    2. Plasma has a shorter life span than LCD TV's too.

    Don't just take my word for it, look what Consumer's Reports has to say about it as well as the brand of TV you are considering.

    Look on these 2 websites for better brands and better deals.  I would consider a Sony or a Sharp instead.
