I've been using a regular razor to wet shave ever since I've needed to and am now looking to buy an electric brand. Can someone please tell me the difference between rotary and foil shavers and also give me more information on clippers & groomers!

  1. get one of the latest norelco  i have one that still works i got as a christmas gift in 1997.

  2. there isn't a lot of difference performance wise between rotary and foil. Its just personal preference.

I believe rotary such as philips is best as they last alot longer. Foils can split really easily and/or become blunt. The philips cool shave was a good razor but i think they replaced it with something else.

It will take about 4 weeks for your skin and hair to adjust to your new shaving method so keep at it! Wet shaving actually cuts into a small bit of skin where as electric shavers dont so you might find the shaveisn'tt as close but if you carry on using it your skin will adjust. If you get a rash from an electric shaver this is a kinda burn and normally happens to oily skin so before you shave use a pre electric lotin its quite cheap. This removes the oils allowing the shaver to glide over with out friction.

Hope that helps! Also pop into a big boots store and talk to theElectricall Beauty Consultant

  3. Phillips is the best
