Looking to buy a new pool cue any recommendations?

I want to get a new pool cue and was wondering if anybody had any good recommendations, I'm looking for a 19 oz. cue with a 12mm tip, at the same time nothing too over the top, might scare away competition at the pub lol.

I agree with the recommendations offered regarding Jacoby cues and avoiding products from China.  I'd also highly recommend Meucci cues, I've been using mine for 20+ years.

Yes,  Depending on what you want to spend.  Schon cues are pretty nice cues. Viking cues are decent cues for the money.  I'd never own one but people seem like like Mc Dermott cues.  I shoot with Jacoby cues and wouldn't shoot with anything else.  I'm sure there are cue makers that are equal to Jacoby, but none better.  The best advise on cue purchase is to stay with American made cues.  And definitely do not buy anything made in china.  Good luck, and keep rackn em up!

I have a couple like the one in the link below. Email me for more info and better pics if your interested. They dont cost much but are a good cue for the pubs. The ones I have have a 12.5mm tip and are 19oz. I would ship from Manitoba, for about 25% less.

i would check out josey cues. they are expensive but they are well worth it. Keith Josey is one of the best cue makers in the United States. He is ranked in the top 3 cue makers in the nation. I recommend him highly.  his website is www.joseycues.com

Mcdermott and Viking cues are my two favorites. They both come with lifetime warranties now. Viking just started doing that recently.
