Looking to buy an LCD HDTV?

Question

I really like Samsung, but for price i have seen Element and Olevia 32 inch's that arent more than 100 or 150 dollars more then a Samsung 22 inch. Anyway im looking to spend no more than $500 on this TV. Anybody have any good reccomendations on what brand to buy and what to look for in buying a new tv?

just got a real good magnavox 32 inch from target for 600. it's great! it sets itself up first of all..then it actually got the hd stations in my area right away cause it has a built in tuner.

also there is alot of talk about 720p,or 180i or 180p....it makes no difference unless you have a screen size say over 48 inches. so don't worry about that at all.!!!

I have an olevia and so far it's great.  Got mine at Target also.

Stay away from MEMOREX.  I don't know who makes the sets for Memorex, but my son-in-law bought one and it went out after about 5 months.
