Looking to buy some Grocery off Tesco, do they accept Visa Electron?

  1. as long as you got money in the account you can use it at most places where you see the visa electron sign


  2. According to Tesco's shopping guide they do not accept Visa Electron.  If you create an account (which takes 2 minutes) you can access the "Grocery Help" page which states;

    Payment

    We accept the following method of payments:

    Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Solo, Delta, Clubcard Plus.

    We don't accept Electron cards, cash, cheques or paper vouchers/coupons.

    If you do have an Electron card please check with your issuing bank as they can upgrade your card to allow you to shop online with us.

  3. yeh they do accept it, but just watch because they charged me double last week and had some ammount of trouble trying to get my own money back.
