Question:

Looking to change electricity supplier in the UK.?

I've just moved into a new flat, ex council stock, and it has a power card meter in it. It is prohibitively expensive, and an utter pain to get cards for the things, so I'm looking to change supplier and payment meter.

Does anyone know where is best to go to get decent 'green' electricity. My wee boy has convinced me to go for a company which doesn't destroy the planet (pester power works even when changing pwoer supplier).

  1. My advice would be to contact your current supplier to get the meter changed before changing your supplier. Once you've got your meter changed check out websites like uswitch for the best deals on green tariffs.

  2. PLEASE CONTACT BRITISH GAS. THEY SEEM TO BE GOOD PEOPLE.

  3. I'm with EDF they are apparently doing more to save the environment and reward people who use less power

  4. I feel that I should recommend Scottish Hydro Electric, they are renewable and are very reasonably price, for an energy provider.
