  1. Hey there SF my man! I'm here! I have made A LOT of money picking heavy underdogs in my life. When I was little I told my Dad to put my Christmas money on Buster Douglas. I had seen him level Mike Williams with a jab on the undercard of Tyson/Spinks. Big George was probably the only other contender at the time that could have done that. More importantly however, I factored in to the equation the powerful "intangables". Buster had just 3 weeks prior lost the love of his life, his mother. He was dedicating that fight especially to her. Add in the serious health battles that other close members of his family were going through and you have a fighter in such a highly elevated mental state that he is CERTAINLY NOT going to be intimidated by 5 foot 11 inches of mere flesh and blood.

There were other underdogs that I KNEW should not have been underdogs like Evander Holyfield in the second Bowe fight and the first Tyson fight. I also was certain that Antonio Tarver would handle Jones because I knew that jones could not defend against body punishment on the ropes and I was sure that is where he would end up. HBO was solely handling their first fight though. jones had a HUGE contract with them. So I held on to my money despite my knowing that Tarver was better.

I've had quite a few high rollers "take my word on things before they place a risky bet".

The only times I am hesitant is when the guy I'm picking against has a large contract with HBO. Then I hold on to my money. The first Tarver/Jones fight for example and Holyfield/Lewis 2. Lewis had just signed a mammoth 6 fight deal with HBO. That combined with "public sentiment" that Lewis had been robbed in the first fight meant that there was NO WAY the judges would give Evander a descision. I ATTENDED that SECOND fight and EVERYONE there[including the British fans] knew Evander had done enough to win. But if it was EVEN REMOTELY close the judges WERE DEFINITELY GOING to announce Lewis as the winner. They did.

So there is A LOT that goes in to this. There is a fine art to picking fights. But I'M your girl if ya ever need me!

    LUV YA SF! xoxoxoxoxox
