I'm currentley 20 and live in the United States. I want a change of scenery and have always wanted to live in another country. I figured the best way is to go to a university there, either England or Australia. What do i need to do. Are they hard to get into? If i get a degree from a foriegn college, would american companies look at it the same? Do alot of students do this? What do the locals (Australians/English) think of yankees going over there to learn?

  1. You might even try something a little closer to home just to get a feel of if you like it by trying schools in Canada. Usually they are cheaper than US schools and they transfer degrees. It's an idea to keep in mind to do for a semester or so before making a huge jump across oceans. Canadians are different but similar in many ways so it makes a great transition without overwhelming culture shock.

  2. I'm in Australia, it's pleasant here.

    You'd fit just in.

  3. Most uni's in the UK have a 50:50 mix of foriegn people to people from the UK, so really we don't mind. You need to get in contact with the universitys directly, and decide what you want to do.. If you want some help in doing all of this, email me at mccullochcj@aol.com. I've just done my university stuff.

    good luck x
