try chatzy.com   add the link to the description or in a calendar reminder. many use outside chats for groups since they were disabled, we use the one above

The chat feature was removed a long time back in Yahoo groups.  Perhaps in the future if and when the Y! groups format is changed, Yahoo might have the chat feature or something similar again.

In the meantime, you could consider using Yahoo IM and set up a time and date for interested group members could all participate.   That's what we do with one group in which I'm a member.
