As said am hosting an event for 200 poeple of all ages and need some ideas of fun things to do for everyone. I already have a list of the usual things such as face painting, fun golf, big party garden games etc but if anyone has any other ideas I would love to hear them.

  2. Do a carnival theme party. There are several sites on the web that will give you game, food etc. ideas. Search for fundraiser sites for carnival ideas. You might even actually make it a fundraiser,

  3. Well, there's one party game that always goes down a treat: TWISTER!! If you want, you could get a BIG piece of board, paint it white then use plates to draw in the circles, then paint. That way you can use it again and it'll be quite sturdy! Then all you need is a twizzer ;-)

  4. It sounds like it's an outdoor party ....  so have a badmitton or volleyball net up ....  3-legged races ... egg on a spoon races ... croquet ...  hula hoop contest (yes, you can still find them in stores)

  5. You have a large number of people so there should be an event where everyone could enjoy and don't feel boring.

Another thing is you have the people of different age groups so engaging all of them is quite trickey.

You just have to organise a stage show type function where everyone who wants to perform alone, who wants to associate with a group and perform play , solo singing and dance.

Aside of this there is the arrangement of some quick food so that they all could enjoy in a great deal.

I haven't organised such a huge crowed but for 50 persons once, and enjoyed a lot.

  6. lol. face painting that brings back memorys.

a suggestion i would give you is to try something outside of the usual. kids these days expect to see a clown or get their face painted but if you give them something they did not expect then you'll be in for some fun. sometimes a magician or a science experiment that involves the younger kids working with the older ones to make something together that has scientific meaning. plaster volcanoes and the like. also try a family game like a water balloon catch or a contest to see who can dodge the most water balloons. another is to try and get someone that does dj as a hobby. teenagers are also well gifted in certain talents why not throw in a random talent show where the kids show off something they know they can do just for giggles. also try a comedy hour where the teenagers try to make the little ones laugh their heads off.

i hope these ideas help you.
