I'm sick of renting and have decided that I'm going to save up enough money and actually just buy a house. Where would be a good place to live in philadelphia that isn't outrageously priced, but is a cool neighborhood

  1. Depends on what you want to be close to...

Downtown is fun and cute, old houses.  You are close to everything, but slightly expensive.  Still less than other cities.

Manayunk/East Falls are a close ride to Center City, but cheaper and more residential/neighborhood like.

The NOrtheast has several neighborhoods that are nice and this is a very affordable area.  Commuting to the city can be a pain unless you take the train.

  2. Living in the city is expensive.  There are some great neighboring communities that are nearby.  How close to Philly do you want?  I live in Reading, PA and I'm about an hour from the city.  Some are other great communities that are closer consider looking for homes in Montgomery and Chester counties, in my opinion they have the best communities.

  3. u should i'm living in pa nd it's cool theres a lot of stuff 2 do!
