  1. Warm place rules out Canada.  Not being the US rules out the US.  So that leaves you with Mexico.  It is warm and cheap to live but good luck getting a visa as they have tougher Immigration laws than America.

  2. Canada has great healthcare.  As of Jan 2009, we will have no healthcare premiums in Alberta.  Currently we pay about $44./month.

We are fortunate to experience all 4 seasons in Canada.  Our temperature ranges are +30C in the summer to -30C in the winter.  Don't let this scare you off, we only get about a week of -30 weather each winter.

One of the benefits of living in Alberta is that we get the warm chinook winds during the winter which brings in warm air from the west coast.

  3. North America features three countries:

USA - you ruled that out yourself

Canada - not really easier to get into than the US, climate is OK, not really cheap to live, health care is arguably OK

Mexico - hot, hard to immigrate to, pretty cheap, health care is non existent if you don't have money

I would say that according to your own criteria, you can forget about North America completely.

  4. Ahhh...   with the over population of North America, you will find global warming has the Arctic Circle all ready for you.

  5. What you want does not exist - better stay where you are!

  6. How about Cuba ?

Anyone believe this guys Canadian ?

  7. There is no such place.  North America only has two countries, US and Canada.

  8. Best and warmest place to live in Canada?  Kamloops, BC.

    Check it out , man.

On the other hand, what do you mean by cold?  Are you a whoose, or what?   The BC Interior has very mild winters compared to the rest of Canada.  If you're looking for perfect, forget it.

  9. South America...low crime.... You don't those words together very often.

My suggestion is you go and visit some places and then decide
