Looking to rent house w/ detached guest apt in San Diego

Hi! I'm trying to find a house with a detached guest house in SD (near to downtown) to rent starting within the next month. I've looked in Craigslist as well as several property mgt. companies, however with no avail. How would I find a house to rent which has a guest house? My price range is up to $2800.
