I am a 29 year old male with a family history of heart disease and diabetes. Besides one-a-day Men's Formula, are there any other vitamins that anyone would suggest for healthy heart living?

Thanks!

  1. It is recommended that male at your age should be taking a Vitamin C, antioxidants, omega 3s (for focusing), and a multivitamin. Vitamin source is important to me so I take Nutrilite Organic vitamins. You can get the four vitamins in a pack by going to http://Arcameda.com and clicking on Vitamins then click on Men's Health. The pack is called Simply Nutrilite Men’s Supplement Pack.

For something more specific for your heart health, once you go to the Arcameda site, click on vitamins then Heart Health.  There are many organic vitamins there for the heart so I would have to know more about you to recommend the right one.  There is Garlic Heart Care Formula for cardiovascular health, Cholesterol Health supplements, Blood Pressure Health supplements and more. If you have any further questions, go to my profile to email me. Hope all is well.

  2. I suggest not taking one-a-day vitamins.Research shows that you do not get much nutrients out of them.

    Try Nutrilite supplements:

    and Wakunaga supplements:

  3. Perhaps your doctor could recommend some, but I've not heard of studies showing any particular vitamin or supplement that was good for heart disease. Better to exercise regularly, get plenty of sleep, & eat healthy fresh foods.
