Looking to take Jiu Jitsu classes in Dallas, TX.?

I have no previous experience in martial arts, but I want to take Jiu Jitsu classes because I plan to be a future MMA fighter one day. So if you have any information about classes in the DFW area, it would be helpful.

You're in luck dude.. Well, if you don't mind driving the 20 mins or so it takes to get to fort worth, Travis lutter (who is a UFC fighter, or was) has a gym there. My cousins trains there. He trains in MMA, wrestling, muay thai, and jiu jitsu. He pays 150/month for unlimited training but it is a 4 years commitment since you'll be under contract. You will need gears which are boxing gloves, a gi, shin pads, mouth guards, etc. They sell it at the gym but I highly recommend you buy over ebay or elsewhere because it will save you money. I am in California but my ENTIRE family lives in texas. If you do join, I will see you in about 3 months since I too plan to join there when i move to texas. It takes hard work since you want to be a mma fighter so don't give up! hopefully i'll see you there!

Where in Dallas are you? I ask because if you've been living in Dallas for any length of time you will know that traffic sucks there. And the supposed 20 min drive to Ft. Worth, ha not even at 2am can you make that drive in 20! If you're in Plano - NDBJJ on Spring Creek. Frisco has a Chris Brennan BB in Josh Vazquez at Rick's Kicks. Carrolton has Carlos Machado and Star BJJ  is Yousef's place. Coppell has Mohler's. Lewisville has Marcus Hicks (side note: he's fighting Jamie Varner for the WEC title), and Tery Corkrans. Up in Denton is Kirk Gibson's. In Dallas is Lion's Den, JB's. There's more but that's all I can think of right now. Go check out txmma.com for a better list. These are the places that I personally know of.
