Have a friend looking for somewhere to go where him and his wife can just relax away from the kids. They are looking to stay in the valley area and want some place where they wont go bankrupt staying there for a couple of days. I appreciate any suggestions.

  2. the pointe at south mountain is great!! they run specials throughout the summer (one being 110 per night).

my fiance and I have gone there many times. so relaxing with an awesome pool, spa, great restaurants and just an overall relaxing atmosphere. here is the link w/their specials

the scottsdale princess is another really nice resort but spendy. expect about 300-600 per night but that includes a dinner and spa use credit. here is the link for their packages

    hope this helps!!!

  3. If they are coming this time of year then they won't go bankrupt anywhere, even the spendier places are in the $140 to $200 range compared to their normal $250 to $500 range.  I like the Pointe Hilton at Tapitao as it has Casitas and a beautiful pool.  There are also some nice Embassy Suites such as the one at the Biltmore or the one of the 101 in Scottsdale.

  4. Not sure where they are coming from, but I'd suggest going up to Prescott, only about 2 hours north of sky harbor airport.  Its much easier to relax up there.  its really laid back and almost always something going on or to see, and alot cheaper and tons of eating places. Oh I'm not sure when they wanna get away either.  email for any more details.
