Looking to upgrade my dell 4700 mid size with a new motherboard.?

Does anybody know where to get a more powerful motherboard for my midsize dell 4700?

If your overclocking, then you may need some extra fans, but I like shopping from FRY's electronics and http://www.newegg.com

you need to make sure your processor type and motherboard slot correspond. If you have intel, then get an intel motherboard.

First of all find out what main board your Dell has. Some Dell's have a BTX board and they are hard to find. BTX are boards that are turned 180° so all your hock ups are on the RIGHT not left like 90% of the other boards.Looking from the back of your computer to the front.

You may also need a new CPU and fan just upgrading the motherboard will not necessarily give you more power . It can give you more features , like more USB slots or firewire or ESATA  and SATA  and other features, look for a combo mother board and CPU  on www.newegg.com or www.tigerdirct.com
