Looks like Mexico is out for next years Nationwide Series schedule, should they put Rockingham in it's place

i think it was yesterday on Nascar Now that i heard that the Nationwide Series won't return to Mexico next year. i say put Rockingham in it's place. do you agree, or what should they replace the Mexico race with?

I like the tracks just how they are. NASCAR started on the east and they should of kept it that way.

They should, but realistically, it will probably be Iowa in its place.

The Rock was always my favorite track when they raced there. I vote a BIG YES!

I read that too. Also something that was noted is that NASCAR has always held some type of event out of country. Since Mexico has kicked off successfully with the Corona Series I would guess the replacement  event may  be in another country.

Now this is just a wild guess. NASCAR has held races in Australia before. With Dale Jr going to Australia and visiting the V8 Super Cars it wouldn't surprise me a bit if NASCAR holds some event there next season.

Also Jeff Gordon thinks they need to race in Canada.

That is an awesome idea. The Rock should never have been taken off the schedule. It would be great to see them running there.

the rumor is Iowa.  Its a nice modern short track.  

Is Rockingham even in a usable condition these days?  It was just sitting empty for years until someone bought it.  It was a great track but it needed a lot of work.

It would be great if they went back to Rockingham but I have a feeling that they will go to the Iowa Speedway. It would save the teams a ton of money if they stayed close and went to the Rock but Iowa Im sure would have a big race purse. Im ok with it either way.

Rockingham was a really great racetrack and I think it would be awesome to put that in the series schedule.

Yes.  I miss Rockingham.  That was a fun race to watch and a lot of close finishes.  They need to take away one california race and put in Rockingham back in the cup series as well.
