Looney Tunes episode Question.?

I was wondering if anybody had the answer to this rather odd question. Earlier today I recalled an episode of Looney Tunes way back when that truly frightened me. The episode I believe featured 'Bugs Bunny', and from what I remember he was trapped in a mans house. The man was was, short, and had big eyes, or glasses. Overall he was incredibly creepy. The man seemed to be everywhere in the house, and was always popping up somewhere unexpected. He didn't say much, but when he talked he spoke very low, and softly. Now, my question is, what is the character's (creepy old man) name? It's been bugging me forever now, & I'd to know. I may have some of the details above wrong, but please keep in mind, the last time I saw the episode was when I was very small. Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

The only thing I can think of at the moment is the Monster, but he was tall; at one point Bugs sits him down and does his nails, pretending to be a female manicurist, and says, "It must be incredibly IN-ter-esting being a MONS-tah!" Then when he puts his nails in liquid to soak, there are mouse traps in the liquid. Of course, I'm assuming you're not talking about Yosemite Sam. Others may occur to me later.

The character was,probably, predicated upon the real life actor Peter Lorre .(If I remember correctly even though I do not know the exact episode .)
