Question:

Loose weight in 2 and a half months?

Hi,

I wanna loose up to 8 kgs in 2-3 months, can i do that? I will go to the gym 3 times a week, but there is not much in the way of cardio at my gym. So should i go for jogs on the non gym days. Also what kind of food should and shouldn't i eat? Is pasta and potato a bad option for dinner coz their like my faves, but i'll give them up if i have to. Please i'll do whatever it takes.

    It's great that you are going to the gym. you can get cardio on the tredmill.

    Pasta and potatoes are high in a certain type of carbohydrates, and those chemicals in the food actually tell your body to STORE fat. Eat more protein and drink 3 glasses of milk a day. eat yogurt, and eat 1,800 to-2,000 calories a day. now, you can still have desserts, but only 1-2 times a week. hope i helped!

  2. Losing weight is a very hard and touchy subject.

    It's not bad to eat pasta and potatoes at all. The trick is to watch your intake of it.

    If you really want to lose weight, keep doing what you are doing with the gym and watch your calorie intake.

    Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day and if you are bored with water, what I did was drank unsweetened ice tea.

    There is a website that I used to watch my calories and it's really neat. It helped me alot! Because it was easier for me to keep track, with working out everyday and eating portions I dropped from 185lbs to 140lbs in a few months!

  4. Don't give up your faves, just eat less of them and balance them out with lots of veggies, both cooked and uncooked. That means you'll eat a lot of salads with low- fat dressings. Salads can become a hot favorite if you put them together right and grow a taste bud for them. Replace all soda with water and light fruit juice. 18 pounds in 2 to 3 months is reasonable and can be attained through the simplest forms of discipline, assuming that you were reliably advised that you're that much overweight. Oh, and I almost forgot; don't eat the pasta and potato less than 2 hours before bedtime.

    If you're doing strenuous exercises at the gym, you can do light jogging or even walking on 2 other days. Give yourself 2 off days for tissue repair. You have to keep up the exercises for the plan to work. Go for it!

    And whenever you travel somewhere(Not on the roads)jog!

    Eat salads more and cheese is ok for 1/2 times a week.

    They may not be bad...

  7. ok when your at the gym do alot of leg and ab work.

    when your not at the gym jog.

    you dont have to stop eating the foods you like you just have to eat less of it.

    try to eat salads and fruit.

  9. well, i tried a celebrity cookie diet(searched it online and read it on a mag. on a plane) and it works so good its not even funny!! try it:-) good luck, and dont give up!

  10. Read below for the foods you should (and shouldn't) eat.  Eating whole wheat pasta would be better.  Potatoes are good, just so long as you don't add a lot of butter, sour cream, etc.  No deep fat fried.

    I have lost fat and have gained better health by following this and the other program I mention in My Profile.  

    You will get everything you need by eating the following, listed in order of nutritional value:

    Raw leafy green veggies (romaine, red and green leaf lettuces, kale spinach, etc)

    Solid green veggies - raw, steamed or frozen (asparagus, broccoli, cabbage, peas, peppers, etc)

    Non-green, non-starchy (beets, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, etc)

    Beans/legumes - cooked, canned or sprouted ( chickpeas, pinto beans, black beans, etc)

    Fresh fruits (apples, bananas, oranges, watermelon, etc)

    Starchy veggies (white potatoes, sweet potatoes, squash, corn, carrots, etc)

    Whole grains (barley, millet, oats, brown rice, quinoa, etc)

    Raw nuts and seeds (almonds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, etc)

    Do not skip breakfast.  Oatmeal with fresh fruit.  No sugar or milk.  Rice or almond milk is better.  Smoothies can be good too, depending on what you put in it.

    You don't have to eat eggs, fish or meat for protein.  You can get it from beans, whole grains, nuts and seeds.

    If you eat the right foods you don't have to count calories or carbs.  Diets and pills don't work.  Medicinal herbs take over and weaken your system.

    Drink filtered water.  City water may have added chemicals. Can you really trust bottled water?

    Pop is one of the worst things you can put in your body.  Stay away from sugar, junk food and over processed foods.

  11. Fruit is a great way to detox, as is green tea.

    But salad and protien( lean meat) are the best for losing weight and building muscle.

    Pasta is healthy...but it is all carbs, which adds fat to the body if it's not being burned off soon after.

    Try to jog/walk a mile every week and time it.

    Check weekly to see if you beat your previous time.
