Loosen My Load to burden the line-up of the Follow Punchestown On Facebook Chase
Punchestown will host the Follow Punchestown On Facebook Chase over two miles and six furlongs on Wednesday, 30th May. The race has attracted a line-up of seven five-year and older runners who will contest for the €13,000 prize money.
The leading and most promising entry for the race is Loosen My Load, Dushyantor’s eight-year-old bay gelding out of mare, The Kids Dante. He has been successful in eight out of his eighteen career races.
The first time that he won at Punchestown was on 18th May, 2010 in the Motivate Challenge In Association With The Evening Herals Beginners Chase over two miles and four furlongs.
The 7/4 favourite winner led the track of seventeen by three and a half lengths and was joined in by Trimbellina the quickest.
Coming at terms with the third position was Glacial Promise.
The sensational chaser then won the very next outing on 17th September in the Southampton Goodwill Chase at Listowel over two miles and three furlongs. The 8/15 favourite winner led the runner up of the race, Schelm, by the exact same margin as the last race, three and a half lengths.
Ending third in line was Emmpat.
Dictating the terms of a third race in a row, Loosen My Load struck a hat trick. He won the Group 3 Buck House Novice Chase on 14th October at Punchestown over two miles and two furlongs.
Sent as a favourite third time in a row, the ¼ favourite led the runner up, Darceys Dancer, by two and a half lengths. Norther Bay caught up with the third position.
He could not win any more races during 2010 and stayed deprived through the first three outings of the next season.
On 24th September, he won the LE Grande Chase at Navan over two miles and four furlongs. Winning as the 8/11 favourite of the race, he took command of the seven final lengths of the race and set Sebadee as the runner up.
Filling up the third slot behind the winner was Back Of The Pack.
He has the highest of the chances to claim the race today and is fresh for the 2012 season.
