Loosing the baby weight... any suggestions on how to shead the last little bit sooner?

I had my son three weeks ago on wednesday. I'm already doing well with loosing the weight and can fit in my old pants no problem.. the issue I have is that 95% of my shirts are "fit" meaning they fit just right prior and since I have the little pouch left my shirts are still a bit snug... I want to know if anyone has pointers on what to do to try to get the muscles toned up a bit faster or how you lost that last little bit... I know that it's not going to go away over night and that I'm doing really well so far but would like to help the last little bit along...

  1. If you are cleared to exercise (usually happens at your 6 week appointment with dr) start on an ab fitness program. Are you breastfeeding? If so that helps burn calories too. By the way though it usually takes about the full 6 weeks for your belly to go completely down so just give it some time you may not have to work as hard as you think.

  2. the three best exercises are swimming, s*x, and walking, in that order.

the best food to eat to lose weight is pickles at the end of a meal. recommend Claussens.

  3. i really enjoyed post-natal Yoga.

    Relaxing, and strengthening.

Excercise is the key, also probably breastfeeding.

But youre only 3weeks post partum, so try to take it easy!

My daughter is 4mos; and I am enjoying my little pooch... haha

What I did was buy some nursing tops, they are made with post partum in mind....and you can find some really cute ones...

  4. if you don't wanna do the exercise thing try getting your doc to prescribe Adipex-p i lost like 30 lbs in a little over a month... but if you are not wanting to actually lose the weight but tone up the lower part of your belly just get rid of the pouch then do lower ab workouts it will take a little bit of time but it'll work

  5. CONGRATS!!!!!!!

i have not had a baby.....yet, so i don't know if i can tell you anything you don't already know.I guess just keep doing what you currently are and eventually the baby bump will receed...hopefully. ;-)
