Loosing weight by swimming?

well can someone tell me if i swim 25-30 laps a day 5 times a week and biycle 30 min four a month and a good diet how much weight would i loose

  1. Loosing wieght varies from person to person.. but if you dont swim, then you will some pretty dramatic results in the first couple of days. you will feel better and feel more attractive. Besides, swimming is the best way to keep urself toned and loose some weight. You can do it! by the way, the person above me, how can you possibly swim over 5 miles a day. That is pushing it. I can see a person doing that maybe every now and then, but that is like a four hour non-stop swim. Stop lieing, nobody knows who u r so why r u trying to impress us all? I am a teen and swim competitvely, and i do about 3,000 yards. Back to the answer, swimming is great and anything is possible when you put effort and motivation into it. Good luck!


  2. I swim and I eat a lot and I swim about every day and I haven't gained in a while. if any thing i've lost. I do an average of about 6,000 yards a day (25 yards is a lap)

  4. it depends on your eating habits. if you swim before you eat, then you'll end up eating more then usual, becasue you're hungry, and eating before swimming is good. swimming is not really a sport to loose weight in. it's a cardio excersie, meant to make you healthy(internally), and not to make you better.. sometimes gain in muscles may cause excess weight. that's what happened to me,
