Lord Avonbrook keen to complete hat-trick in Suzanne Gill Millinery Nursery
The two back-to-back victories at Beverley and Southwell have spiked up the Andrew Crook trained bay gelding Lord Avonbrook’s confidence level to a great extent. Now, he seems to be well-prepared to complete his hat-trick by winning the Suzanne Gill Millinery
Nursery that will be held at Catterick racecourse on Friday, August 17.
A good track of 5 furlongs and 212 yards is ready for the two-year-old novice runner to show his guts. The success will earn him £3,881. He has never faced a purely good ground in his 4-race career so far.
The talented son of Avonbridge out of Miss Brookie debuted on May 29, 2012, finishing 5th in the Betfred Still Treble Odds On Lucky 15's Median Auction Maiden Stakes. He moved ahead to notch up 4th spot in the Weddings At Great Yarmouth

The best thing about the gelding is that he has won both these races without favourite tags. This is indeed a big achievement.
Thus, Lord Avonbrook will be able to fight well for victory in today’s marathon; however, he will have to be wary of Lady Moonlight who has marvellously won both the races of her career so far.
The Ann Duffield trained grey filly debuted on June 25, 2012 with the title of the Summer Jazz Evening At Thirsk Races Maiden Auction Stakes. She nicely finished first in the St Teresa's Hospice Novice Auction Stakes on July 18.
Like Lord Avonbrook, the rookie runner is too looking forward to complete her maiden hat-trick. She will again run under her regular jockey Graham Lee who understands the young sprinter well.
In this situation, a fierce and neck-to-neck battle is expected between Lady Moonlight and Lord Avonbrook. This will attract a large number of the race lovers. Good luck to all the contestants.
