Lordofthehouse determined to stand first in Bluesquare.Com Stakes
Lordofthehouse is determined to do well and finish first in the Bet At Bluesquare.Com Stakes (Handicap). The Class 2 contest over the distance of 2 miles and 45 yards will take place at Haydock racecourse on Saturday, June 2. The event will begin at 2:10
(GMT).
The William Haggas-trained veteran gelding marvellously won three races in a row from August 5 to September 23, 2011. He moved forward to finish as a runner-up in his last outing on May 12, 2012.
The maverick horse had been the hot favourite runner for each of his last three outings. Overall, he has won 3 of his total 8 starts.
Currently, the son of Danehill Dancer out of Bordighera is awash with fighting spirit and winning momentum that will help him make a big impact against a dozen of rivals including Tominator, Never Can Tell, Montaff, Kazbow, Colloquial, Western Pearl, Shubaat,
Dazinski, Palazzo Bianco, Halla San, Swinging Hawk and English Summer.
The Lael Stable-owned Irish horse will surely be able to deliver an outstanding performance in the Stakes. He will have up to 95 percent chances to finish first.
However, Never Can Tell can wrest success from the jaws of Lordofthehouse. The Jamie Osborne-trained bay mare elegantly clinched top spot in a race on June 11, 2011. She moved on to finish as a runner-up rank on July 9.
The maverick mare elegantly bagged a couple of consecutive triumphs on September 9 and October 8. She finished 8th against 15 rivals in her last outing on May 9, 2012.
If Lordofthehouse fails to block Never Call Tell, she will have to face the music in the end.
Among the other runners, Colloquial is likely to perform well in the race. The Henry Candy-trained bay gelding nicely finished first in his second last outing on July 8, 2011. The experienced horse went on to grab 4th position in his last start
on September 30.
Thus, there will be a fierce battle in the race but Lordofthehouse is likely to carry the day. Good luck to all the runners.
