  1. The duke of wellington

  2. We are all just pieces on a giant chess board= I am a royal pain in the neck=

  3. If I worked this out right A lord is a rich person with land that may or may not be related to the king. Knights are usually lords. Earls I hink are uncles or older elations to the king. The Duke is the broher to the king eg the Duke of Earl. However it all gets confusing becasue titles are inherited so if your great great grandfather was the kings brother then you might be very distantly related to the King yet still be a duke. Your first son usually inherits the title. Your second sons and any others are lords and the daughters are ladies uuntill they are amrried and then they take whatever title their husband has

  4. foedt means nourish the king nourished lords who nourished smaller lords etc. the serfs produced all the food and were protected by the king and his lords::: the second quaestione is that your son inherits the title your daughter is a lady and maybe a countess duchess marchioness etc...

    happy?

  5. LOL this is funny cause my friend is a duke(and a duchess...or however u spell it) A Duke is like the cousin to a Prince/ Princess.....So like if anything is to happen to the Queen, King, Prince, and Princess they are next in line for the throan.   A lord....well they're not really what you'd consider ROYALTY...there like....low rank royalty sorta. A lord is like the important people AFTER the duke.

Also if you're a duke so would your kids....or they'd just be royalty...idk what they call um xD

    HOPE I HELPED! :D

If you need other nobiliary titles here are some :

    baron , count , viscount , earl , laird , marquess , overlord

  8. The hereditary peerage includes the titles,in order of precedence of duke/duchess,

    marquess/marchioness,

    earl/countess,

    visount/viscountess,and baron/baroness.

A peer may run for a position in Parliament,in The House of Lords. This has changed, because an hereditary peer used to be able to automatically take a seat in Parliament.

These peerage titles usually have been held by the family for centuries. These titles were given as payment/reward for doing the monarchy some great service. The service may have been military, helping the monarch win lands.

A duke was given lands to govern for the monarch;these lands are called duchies. A duke can earn money from these lands through farming and real estate and other economic ventures.Other titled peers also received some lands and some political powers as well.

An eldest son generally takes on the title next down that the father holds.Peers often hold more than one title.A duke can also be marquess, earl, viscount and baron. His eldest son would be a marquess. The younger sons are lords and the daughters ladies.

A marquess is also an earl, viscount and baron. His eldest son would be an earl.Younger sons and daughters are lords and ladies.

An earl is also a viscount and baron. His eldest sone would be a viscount. His daughters would be ladies.Younger sons are "The Honorable Given Name Surname."

A viscount is also a baron. Eldest sons are "The Honorable" Given Name Surname,as are younger sons and daughters.

Barons sons and daughers are all The Honorable Given Name surname.
