The attacking midfielder scored a brace in his under-21 debut against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liechtenstein-c2943 recently. Insigne has been a revelation since joining Pescara on-loan from Napoli before the start of the ongoing season, and has attracted interest from a host of Serie A clubs. Udinese are believed to be tracking the midfielder during the January transfer window, but the Partenopei side has denied such rumours.
Insigne has hailed Zeman’s influence in his development, and believes that the credit of his growth goes to the manager. He believes that the Pescara boss showed faith in his abilities, and immediately drafted him in his first-team line-up.
While talking to the reporters, Insigne said,
“I owe so much to Zeman. He has helped me grow so much and thanks to him I have broken into the Italian Under-21 set-up. My future? I know nothing. Everyone knows that as a Neapolitan to play in that shirt is a dream, but I want the best finish this season with Pescara and next year we’ll see. I’m young and I have to play first, before I have dream big.”
It is believed that Napoli are planning to take back the youngster in the ongoing January transfer window. However, the youngster is coy over his future and insists that he knows nothing about it. He insisted that he dreams of playing for Napoli one day, but his immediate objective is to help Pescara return to top flight.
The Dolphins are currently placed 3rd in the Serie B table.
The 20-year-old insisted that he wants regular football in order to continue his growth as a player. Insigne has scored 7 goals in 17 appearances in the ongoing campaign so far.
The attacker emerged from the youth setup of Napoli in 2009, and has been farmed out on-loan since then. He was loaned out to Cavese in 2010, followed by an extended spell at Foggia last season.
