The Partenopei striker’s agent has stressed that the player and the Naples outfit want to strike a long-term relationship, and believes that the petty negotiations will soon be out of the way.
Lorenzo Insigne’s agent has voiced his opinion about the future of his client with Napoli, and believes that the striker will get a good contract renewal with the club in the days to follow.
The Partenopei-owned player spent the last season on-loan to Pescara, where he played a vital role in the Serie B side’s triumphant campaign, and their eventual promotion to Italy’s top flight.
The Azzurri attacker is a product of the Naples outfit’s youth academy, and spent the last three seasons on-loan to different teams.
However, the striker has now been included in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003’s pre-season training, and is expected to get a raise in wages to acknowledge the player’s growth in the past few years.
Insigne’s representative stated his belief that the Partenopei are looking for a long-term relationship with the budding star, in the aftermath of their deal to sell http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ezequiel-Lavezzi-c13073 off to Qatari owned Paris Saint-Germain.
When asked if the Azzurri will be looking to buy a replacement for the Argentine international, the agent insisted that while he has little insight in the matter, he believes that there is little chance of any such shopping plans taking shape for the club
in the summer transfer window.
However, the Partenopei striker’s spokesperson went on to reveal that Napoli are looking to upgrade the wages of Insigne, in order to cement their relationship with the player.
While talking to Calcionews24.com, the Antonio Ottaiano said:
“Napoli are looking to Insigne and at this time are not considering the possibility of his departure. Does Lavezzi’s sale prompt another arrival? I don’t know, but I doubt that the situation will change. There will be a contract renewal for Insigne, this
is the will of Napoli and so they can protect themselves.”
Lorenzo Insigne’s agent went on to express his satisfaction at the way situation is developing for his client, and insisted that the player is likely to stay at Naples.
The former Pescara-man’s representative insisted that while there have been offers from the likes of Sampdoria, he does not believe that the interest holds much significance.
