The under-21 striker has expressed his hope that his performances with the youth Nazionale will help him get called to the senior team by Cesare Prandelli.

The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 attacker was one of the goalscorers in the game against the Dutch under-21, as he curled a shot into the far bottom corner after cutting in from the left flank.
Insigne was delighted at the performance of his team against the Dutch, and was hopeful that they will be able to continue their strong performances in the future as well.
The Partenopei youngster insisted that the team is always motivated to maintain their highest standards in the field of play, because they are aware that the world has their eyes upon them.
The Azzurri under-21 player also stated that he has a good combination with Ciro Immobile, owing to their time together at Pescara.
While talking to the press, the former Pescara player said:
“We put in a great performance, are in good shape and have to continue along this path. We give the best of ourselves in the Nazionale because we know the world is watching. It had been a long while since I played alongside Ciro Immobile, but you can see
how well we get along thanks to their time at Pescara.”
Insigne went on to reflect on his dreams to play in Italy’s senior team, and insisted that it is the desire of every young player to play under Cesare Prandelli.
However, the Azzurri youngster was adamant that he is completely focussed on the task at hand under his manager Devis Mangia, and insisted that he would continue waiting for a call from the senior team.
“Of course I hope Cesare Prandelli will call me to represent http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926. It is the objective of every young player. Now I am concentrated on the Under-21 side and am at Devis Mangia’s disposal.”
While the Italy under-21 won against Holland, the senior Azzurri lost to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 2-1 in a recent friendly match.
