  1. The best person to answer your question is a Pharmacist.  I did a drug interaction check at http://www.drugs.com/ using Lortab & Tylenol PM.  Here are the results.  Decide for yourself whether it's safe:

    ****V

diphenhydrAMINE (Ingredient of Tylenol PM) and hydrocodone (Ingredient of Lortab)

    (Moderate Drug-Drug)

MONITOR: Central nervous system- and/or respiratory-depressant effects may be additively or synergistically increased in patients taking multiple drugs that cause these effects, especially in elderly or debilitated patients.

MANAGEMENT: During concomitant use of these drugs, patients should be monitored for potentially excessive or prolonged CNS and respiratory depression. Ambulatory patients should be counseled to avoid hazardous activities requiring complete mental alertness and motor coordination until they know how these agents affect them, and to notify their physician if they experience excessive or prolonged CNS effects that interfere with their normal activities.

  2. check this site: http://www.melatrol.com/?aid=830371 they are giving free trial.. all you have to pay is the shipping. Maybe you should try it!

  3. try a natural product. Had the same problem years back. even tried valium. but when i told my doctor that it just make me feel tired but still  can't sleep. she gave me melatrol. it's a natural product  that can help you relax thus sleeping will not be a problem. Maybe you should try it.

  4. I'll just answwer for the insomnia thing... maybe you should try melatrol for that. prescribed meds have side effects, and very adictive. melatrol is a natural product that can help you with the sleeping! guaranteed! tried it myself

  5. It is not safe to mix over the counter meds with prescriptions, loritab has tylenol in it already, you should ask you prescribing doctor to give you an approved sleep med. The tylenol content together would exceed the recommended dosage.
