Los Angeles Angels introduce newly signed Josh Hamilton – MLB Update
The Los Angeles Angels have introduced Josh Hamilton officially in the media and somewhat proved their strength which will potentially ensure a post season spot in the Major League Baseball.
Angels’ general manager Jerry Dipoto was present during the press conference and hoped for a better beginning in the next season onwards. Hamilton and Angels all top executives seemed happy during the press conference.
"Josh really makes our lineup imposing, If we get these guys on the field and they stay healthy and they produce the way they are capable of producing, it's a heck of an offense, one to nine, with balance with right and left. It also gives us the flexibility to go out and answer other issues as the season moves along," Los Angeles Angels general manager Jerry Dipoto said and explained in the media about Hamilton’s arrival in the roster.
Later Hamilton also said and commented in the media with detail, “They like to get after it, They like to get things done. We talked for about three days. I just was excited to see they were excited, to see a team that really pursues you and wants you.”
Former Texas Rangers star hitter Josh Hamilton has recently signed with the Los Angeles Angels and surprised many when the entire league was thinking of his re-signing with Rangers. He signed with the Angels whooping $125 million deal for next five years.
Now experts have started saying that Angels are certain candidate to win the World Series. The Angels already have star slugger Albert Pujols who showed his total grip in the first season with them. He joined the Angels in the recent past season after playing a wonderful season with St. Louis Cardinals.
Though Pujols and Hamilton are two different players but this unit now possess the capability to lead the Los Angeles Angels into new era. Especially Hamilton is looking more aggressive to display his extraordinary hitting skills.
Currently he is possessing .285 hitting average along with 43 homers, 128 RBIs and 354 OBP and with a decent coming opportunity, he will grow further in his hitting prowess.
