Los Angeles Angels lose to Seattle Mariners 1-6 – MLB Update

Los Angeles Angels lost to Seattle Mariners 1-6 in the second game of their three-match regular series encounter on Tuesday, October 2 at Safeco Field in Seattle.
"It's a nice personal accomplishment. It was a good offseason for me. I worked out really hard, trying to get myself to where you can hit the ball a little harder, and the coaches have helped me out a lot here, I don't really consider myself a home run hitter," Kyle Seager said about his team’s performance which outplayed the Angels comprehensively.
Seager added, "I think it would affect us in a negative way if we really started thinking about it if everyone started trying to hit balls in the air and that kind of deal, If everyone continues with what we've been doing of late, we'll be good."
Angels’ pitchers and hitters played under pressure and lost the game with bitter humiliation. They could have played better but Mariners’ offence was not easy to handle.
Seattle Mariners played aggressively and maintained their focus during the entire game. Their pitchers did not let the Angels' hitters to score freely as they held them with great force.
Starter Hisashi Iwakuma pitched six innings and did not allow any run or hit on his 3.16 ERA. He retired seven batters and remained confident on the mound.
Relief pitcher Carter Capps pitched two innings and received only one hit on his 3.96 ERA. He remained calm on the mound and struck-out three with great energy.
Closer Tom Wilhelmsen also played well as he pitched one inning and received one run on two hits. He struck-out two and maintained his ERA at 2.50.
On the other hand, the Angels' pitchers were hammered with big hits. They could not capitalise on their strengths and lost the game with bitter disgrace.
Angels’ starter Dan Haren pitched six innings and received five runs and seven hits. He was also hammered with one homer on his 4.33 ERA. Though he retired eight potential batters but overall he pitched poorly and could not save the game.
