Played with full energy, the Angels remained their composure and never gave any chance to the Rockies at any stage of the game to take control of the game instead; they played as one unit and kept their opponents under pressure and eventually proved their
superiority.

"I don't think there's such thing as a cushion in this park, You try to score as many as you can, and hopefully you're going to hold them to one less." Angels manager Mike Scioscia said.
Colorado’s starter Christian Friedrich proved real disaster for the Rockies. He literally lost the game as he was smashed with 10 hits and nine runs along with eight RBIs. These stats are also one of the worst in his career as he was soon left the mound
pitching four innings.
"I didn't get inside enough, I was ahead of a couple of guys in the first inning. The plan was to elevate it underneath the hands, and I kept it down. And then not being able to throw the curveball for strikes. Once you don't have that -- it's one of my
better pitches to get outs. I knew when I didn't have my curveball." Friedrich said.
