"We knew what we were getting when we got Hanley. He's a very special player, someone who can definitely change a game and is a difference maker, So we're pretty fortunate to have him come over here for the rest of the season and two more years,” Dodgers' right fielder Andre Ethier said in detail.
He added, “It adds another really exciting player to our lineup. And his defense is pretty good out there, too, the way he's able to man both third base and shortstop."
Dodgers played beautifully and never gave any chance to their opponents to take control of the game. Instead they kept them under pressure and slowly but sensibly powered past the Cubs.
Dodgers’ veteran players performed and earned a third straight victory in this particular series.
"It was a good ballgame. Unfortunately, in the sixth and seventh innings, you can't put five guys on without any hits,” manager Dale Sveum said for his team’s performance.
Cubs played under pressure and never showed any spirited performances. They never played offensive which gave enough chances to the Dodgers to oust them with ease.
Their hitters and pitchers at the same time showed little energy and remained under pressure against the Dodgers’ players.

His team-mate closer Alberto Cabrera also gave two runs and two earned runs as his ERA rose to 10.80.
On the other hand, Dodgers' starter Joe Blanton proved wonderful for his team and an earned a great victory as he tossed six solid innings and allowed two runs and only two earned runs.
