Los Angeles Dodgers management shows optimism to introduce rewards program – MLB Update
As new ownership took full control of Los Angeles Dodgers, they are now exploring new ways to introduce reward program. The initial idea is to use social media websites including Twitter, Facebook and Tumbler.
It “would give fans points for retweeting, replying, and helping the Dodgers gain followers.” Experts say this is big initiative itself that Dodgers have turned their attention towards this matter.
Mainly it is because that the Dodgers front office has completed their offseason signings and now they are looking for a thrilling next Major League Baseball season. Many leading teams are currently using social media websites to create fan following across
the globe.
Meanwhile, the Dodgers have some other things to look after. So many fans are now comparing them with the Los Angeles Angles. It is true that for so many seasons, the Dodgers always fell short and did not match the Angels brilliance.
However, now the things have changed as the Dodgers’ rose to the occasion this offseason and signed some big names. With inclusions of some big and experienced players in the roster, the Dodgers and Angels could be fighting for 2013 Major League Baseball
World Series Championship.
"I'm very impressed with both of them, and I just hope that they can bring the championship to the greatest fans in all of baseball," Dodgers icon Tommy Lasorda said.
“I think it’s just great, Why would I ever want to wish bad on someone?” Moreno said of the Dodgers’ spending spree, which included a stunning $61.7 million investment in South Korean left-handed pitcher Hyun-jin Ryu.
The ace starter Zack Greinke also said after signing with the Los Angeles Dodgers, “That’s what it gets to at the end, But I don’t want to get too deep into it and say that’s the only reason I came here, When I wrote all the lineups down and the pitching
staffs down on paper.”
Though the Dodgers have spent so much money on new players and they are looking quite optimistic to play a thrilling season, but still they have to face the Los Angeles Angels and their offensive game.
