Los Angeles Kings confident for Game 4 victory, excited to celebrate Stanley Cup at home -NHL Update
Being the first set of players on the Los Angeles Kings squad to being just an inch away from Stanley Cup glory is definitely a thrilling time for everyone, but since it just might be at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, California, the level of excitement
is immeasurable.
Staying focused and determined on the task at hand is certainly hard to do right now for Los Angeles fans and players, but it is the need of the moment.
"That's the hardest thing to do," LA’s Jarret Stoll said. "We all know that. Very few people have won it, so we know how hard it's going to be tomorrow night, so we've got to have legs. We've got to have the right mindset and have that instinct to just take
it and earn it."
Los Angeles Kings are on route to winning their first Stanley Cup championship in franchise history and just being a part of that is something that has everyone jumping for joy and come Game 4 on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, history just might be made.
"There's some great players came through this organization and not won, and that's something that players want to change. We have a lot of pride in this organization. This city deserves it. They won a lot of championships in this building here – we've seen
some world champion banners already. I think it's time for the Kings to have one," Stoll added.
Legendary players like Wayne Gretzky have also come out on the occasion and are holding their breath to see if Los Angeles will be finally able to pull it all off. Gretzky was part of the 1993 team that went to the finals but lost to Montreal Canadiens in
a 4-1 series.
New Jersey Devils on the other hand, are focused on finally winning for the first time and spoiling Los Angeles’ plans of winning the cup in a clean four-game sweep.
Come Wednesday, it will certainly be exciting to see what the result turns out to be with both teams locked in an intense matchup and giving it there all to go down in history.
