Question:

Los Angeles Outdoor Seafood Market by the bay?

I am looking for a place I visited a few years ago. A friend took me to an open air market where we can buy seafood and cook right at the vendors in front of you. The place is very big with many vendors. Chairs and tables are setup by the water like a mall food court. The only reference of location I remember is that it is no more the 30 minutes from Long Beach. Can you help?

  1. The Redondo Beach Pier has such a setup, and I would imagine it would be about a half hour from Long Beach (with little traffic) but it is usually known as being about 10 miles from LAX.   Its landmarks are 2 restaurants, Old Tony's and New Tony's.

  2. That would be Ports O'Call Village in San Pedro.

  3. sounds cool! i wanna visit LA soon!

  4. It's in San Pedro they have a sea food market out door and a whole lot of resturants.
