Los Angeles - Salary Computer Engineer?

Question

If cost of living calculators to maintain life style claim to be 110,000USD annually, is that common pay rate in Los Angeles(Encino)? I currently am a non-executive, lead position Webfarm Engineer for a Fortune 500 in a city with a much LOWER cost of living.

Go to the salary calculator on www.monster.com and filter for the correct level of computer engineers in Los Angeles.  It will give you the average rate that employers are paying at the correct level for computer Engineers in that area.
