Los Angeles gonna ban use of pastic bag in 2 years, do you support it?

yes, I don't use them now, I use bags from Trader Joes, for grocery shopping-at any grocery store. at the mall I get the paper bags with the handles on it /I refuse plastic bags.

I also think grocery stores should start charging shoppers for every plastic bag they use. charging money for bags,would be incentive enough for alot of people to switch over to reusable bags.

it is time we start being part of the solution,rather than part of the problem. refusing to use plastic bags is such a small,and very easy way for all of us as a society to do.

although I disagree with alot pf Walmart policies, I do have to commend them for recycling those plastic bags.

Yes, I definitely support it and think it's a very good idea!  We do most of our shopping at Whole Foods and they have stopped using plastic bags, but we decided to purchase the reusable bags from them, since we shop there so often...they're pretty nice and only cost $0.99!

Absolutely!  After recycling all my own, we invested in reusable bags.  Best thing ever!  (plus they hold more and don't tear)

Yes. I do support the ban. I live in LA County, I see plastic bags littering our parks, roadways, parking lots etc... I have had plastic shopping bags get caught in the under carriage of my car on a couple occasions. I have canvas shopping bags and take them to the grocery store. Some of them I got as free give-aways from local markets. I keep them in my car and take them out when I go to shop. It's never been any bother to so. I'm also getting good at remembering to take those bags to places other than the market (department stores, discount stores...)

I dont see why not, so many plastic bags are being wasted... i dont know what to do with mine at hoome!
