Los Blancos Central Defender to sit on the Side Lines for the next Four weeks
The twenty-seven-year old http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pepe-c29670 to be out of action till February due to a Calf Injury
The Los Blancos squad and manager has been baffled on the news that Pepe who is the central defender and a vital part of the first team squad will be out for more than a month as he has suffered a calf injury.
The injury was received by the player in a Copa Del Rey match that Real Madrid actually lost to Levante, this is the second defeat that Real Madrid has had this season the other one being when they got thrashed by Barcelona as the score boards at the end
of the match read five to nil in favour for the players from Camp Nou.
The Portuguese manager’s team did endure their second loss of the season but they are still going to move onto the next round due to their amazing win in the first leg which was a match with an astounding outcome of eight to nil.
Still the loss against Levante has set back the Los Blancos squad a great deal as the Brazilian born Portuguese footballer played on in the second half of the match after getting hit in play.
This has resulted in a tear in the defender’s left calf and the doctors have deemed him unfit for play for the next four weeks.
The tear needs time to heal so the player will be off the training grounds and the first team squad list for the time being and his return to play would depend on further examinations of his calf.
This will result in the Portuguese defender missing out on vital fixtures which include matches against Almeria, Vilarreal, Osasuana and Mallorca from the Primera Division, though the player is expected to make a comeback in the match against Real Sociedad
in February 2011.
