Los angeles newspaper archives?

hi i am looking for los angeles newspaper archives.. maybe someone can help my mothers body was found in irwindale ca march 26th 1992 her name was Lynda Monast i have tried searching myself and cant find anything! anything would help i was really young when this happened and my family hid all this stuff from me. thanks
