Lose 5-7 pounds from running in a month?

How can i lose 7 pounds within a month with running alone as an excercise? How many calories and miles should i be running/eating a day? I am 5'8 130 pounds and i really want to lose 5-7 pounds of fat in my thighs and butt by the summer, but i cant motivate myself to run every day. I keep putting off running and dieting but now the summer is coming up and I have barley any time left. any suggestions? thanks!

  1. Well, running will definately cut your legs...  I don't know what kind of shape you are in currently, but 5'8" 130 is pretty svelt...  You might have trouble losing 7 lbs (over 5% of your body weight) in one month.  

    You're going to want to drink LOTs of water before, after and while you're running.  You might also want to mix it up with some cycling, although at 130 pounds you're probably not going to hurt your knees.  Good luck...
