Question:

Losing money.. Help!?

I am in Thailand and when I came here fromJapan I deposited 30K US in the bank. However the Thai baht has lost some value and I have lost 1,500US just in 2 months. Any suggestions on where to put this money to try to make that money back? I think the baht will continue to fall so i think this could get really ugly if I don't stop it soon. Any help is very much appreciated.

Thanks,

Rob

  1. No problem.

Invest in someone's business. I have invested in my friend's small business and now I am getting guaranteed 40% annual interest. It would take you a couple of months to make that $1,500 back.

  2. yes...buy euros and save it

  3. I think I remember seeing somewhere that if you overspend, you can still get money from your Safety Box. The Thailand Baht can be very confusing. It may cost some money to withdraw, but I'm sure it would be worth it instead of losing all of your money at once! Good luck, and I hope I helped!

  4. Buy something , american like bonds whatever....and only use your card or visa to live on and very minimal money.

  5. Stop buying bargirls and put your money in a money market account until you figure something out

  6. What you are describing is a perfect opportunity to trade currency (forex). Check out babypips.com and find a broker to start demo trading with. Once you are comfortable, then you can start putting real money in.
