Losing stomach fat...crunches?

my belly is kind of fat. im not one of those people whos belly is hanging all out, but neither am i one of those people who say "my stomach is soo fat!!" when its really not that much. i'm kind of in the middle of that. so will doing crunches help me lose it?

  1. Your problem sounds like it can be fixed with mesotherapy. I hear it works wonders to lose an inch of belly fat.


  2. crunches will not burn fat, you have to achieve that with cardio(running, walking, swimming,biking,elliptical). Crunches will only define the muscle/make them bigger/noticeable. So in order to have a flat stomach you have to do cardio/good diet.

    Fat is another component. To lose fat tissue, you need to burn calories. The best way is to combine a weight-training program (light weight for 12-15 repetitions each) and an aerobic program.

    You cannot spot train any part of your body to lose fat from- it basically comes off from all over, so it will take some time.

  4. walk it off, run, bike.  aerobics for 30 minutes or preferably longer will help you burn fat more so than just crunches.  also watch your diet, avoid sugary foods and excess saturated fat.
