  1. In order to reach a healthy weight, you'll have to eat more persistently. I find myself having to force food down so that I don't lose weight. I've managed to reach 127 lbs on my 5'9 frame and my body fat has increased from 9 - 17 %. It makes such a difference. I go through much peanut butter and whole-grain bread. I eat whole avocados as snacks. I eat as many bananas I desire. I don't eat junk food at all. My diet is completely healthy.

In your position, you have to realize that working out is not going to help. You actually need to gain FAT. After you've got at least 18% body fat, then you can focus on building muscle mass.

  2. You're keeping yourself healthy.

You're exercising and you say you're drinking lots of water.

Maybe it could be the type of food you're eating?

Some people often change the way they eat, and WHAT they eat.. which in the end leads to their weight loss or gain.

Eat lots of meat with proteins.

Don't eat things like bread on a daily basis.

  3. I suggest you talk this over with your doctor. It is not normal to lose weight for no reasons. Your doctor can simply give you a checkup and diagnose the problem

  4. I found this on this website. There are more tips and info.

    1. If what you are eating has less than 1 carb, count it as 1 carb just to be sure.

    2. Totally avoid caffine at least for the first two weeks on the program.

    3. Drink a MINIMUM of 8 glasses of plain water or seltzer daily.

    4. Don't weigh yourself more than once a week

    5. Take starting measurements as well as weight - sometimes you'll lose inches before pounds

    6. Avoid any type of "low carb" sweetener for the first two weeks

    7. Don't compare your loss to someone else's - this is a YMMV thing (your milage may vary)

    8. Stalls are common around the third week so don't panic

    9. If you follow your plan to the T and don't lose, consider Candida as a possibility and avoid vinegar, cheese, mushrooms and any other fermented food

    10. Have bloodwork done before starting so you have a comparison

    11. Cholesterol can be elevated in the first few weeks til your body adjusts - make sure your doctor knows that you're doing low carb and when you started

    12. Don't blame the diet if you don't read your plan book -- blame the diet if you don't read the labels -- Don't blame the diet if you don't follow the diet
