Losing weight via swimming?

So i am just wondering how much weight would one lose or how much muscle tone would you get if you swam everyday.

How much would you have to swim?

What types of strokes?

Are there any pool activities that will help my stomach?

  1. You would have to swim about 30-50 laps per day.


  2. wow! swimming is a great way to get in shape and lose weight. it strengthens your heart and lungs, plus it works almost every muscle.

    swim 50M (one length down) 10 times for free style, breastroke, and backstroke each

    then do leg lifts, arm circles, squats, and knee jumps in water that is up to your neck or shoulders

    this should all last about an hour

  3. Um Alot.

    Butterfly Stroke, Breast Stroke, Free Style, & Back Stroke.

    Maybe Flipping in or under water enought times.
