I was talking to my boyfriend last night and i asked him why he had been acting weird lately... he told me that he had "lost" his emotions. I immediately got defensive and said if he wanted to dump me then go ahead... but he said he was serious.

He isn't passionate about anything anymore and he doesn't really feel happy or excited or anything. He feels sad and angry but everything else (all the good feelings) aren't there apparently.

He's not being dumb or anything, he still loves me i know for a fact but I want to know how I can help fix this slash is this possible? PLEASE help!!! I really want him to go back to himself! Is he depressed? Can I get him help? Anything would be greatly appreciated!

  1. It definitely sounds like depression. If he has no reasons to back up why he is feeling different then it's gotta be a chemical imbalance or something. If you love him... or even if you just think of him as a friend then stand by him a reassure him that he is still that same guy that you loved butyou guys need to work through this. He needs to see a doctor or a counselor, guys usually have a hard time doing that. Just try and be as supportive as you can and try not to pressure him for now because that will only make it worse. Believe it or not some mental things are beyond someones control and they need help. Some people find that hard to believe, they say just get over it... but it's really not that simple.

  2. sounds like depression to me

  3. Sounds like depression or he really doesn't want to be with you anymore and just doesn't want to admit it.

  4. it can be depression, but also could be schizoid personality disorder (where you have no emotions) or beging stages of schizophrenia

  5. Talk to him about it. Ask him whats wrong. Somthing might of happened so talk to him.
